Springfield,

This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24). This is a tremendous time to be alive! As we continue to live through this pandemic, I am reminded that God is bringing us through it. Sometimes, we look only to the past to see the great triumphs that God has orchestrated in our lives, but these times remind us that God still has keeping power!

In these unprecedented times, so many things are changing fast. At Springfield, we are doing our very best to keep pace in this season, with the goal of serving you with a spirit of excellence, in the name of the Lord. There are many exciting things that we are planning so that we can stay connected at this time. This will require that we embrace technology to do so. As I have taught before, technology is a tool in the hand of God. Technology is not inherently bad or good – it’s how you use it that makes the difference. We will do our best to provide tips and info on how to use the technology that will help support our efforts as a church. I thank God for how you all are using multiple platforms like calling in, tuning in and streaming to stay connected.

BUILDING UPDATE
Many of you have asked what is happening at the Daniel Sanders Multi-Purpose Building during this time. I was able to tour the building on yesterday. Some progress has been made. As you can imagine, the pandemic has slowed some of the efforts. We continue to pray and be optimistic that the vision will soon become a reality for use.

I’M COVERED!
It has been a tremendous blessing to walk with you through Psalm 91. If you’ve been tracking with me, you know we will end our time in Psalm 91 this coming Sunday. I have been refreshed during our study. I hope you have too. It’s a blessing to know – I’M COVERED.
