I was driving today and just broke out singing this song. 

“I am so wondrously saved from sin,

Jesus so sweetly abides within;

Down at the cross where He took me in;

I don’t know if that’s ever happened to you, but when I think about Jesus, I have something to sing about. Glory to His name!

VACCINATION CLINIC

The Garner Road Community Center located at 2235 Garner Rd. will be hosting a vaccination clinic this coming Saturday beginning at 8am. The vaccinations will be for the first 100 seniors 65 and older who live within the 27610 zip code. The opportunities to be vaccinated will go quickly. If you are interested and qualify, please email to try to secure a reservation.

 

DIVERSITY MARKETPLACE

The Diversity Marketplace is happening Saturday, February 6th at 6pm. It’s designed to celebrate Black History, Black Love and Black Dollars. GIVING STATEMENTS

This Sunday is your last opportunity to pick up your giving statements. Our deacons will be passing out the statements immediately after service. If you haven’t gotten your statement, regardless of the first letter of your last name, you can come and pick up your statement.

 

WAKE ASSOCIATION ORATORICAL CONTEST

It’s almost time for the annual James F. Wertz Oratorical contest sponsored by the Wake Missionary Baptist Association. We are recruiting students from grades 6th through 12th to participate in the contest. All applications to participate must be submitted to the WMBA by April 4th. SCHOLARSHIP MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENT

Undergraduates don’t miss your blessing! The Scholarship Ministry wants to be a blessing to our college students. The ministry is asking all Springfield undergraduates ages 18 to 24 currently enrolled in college, please submit your Fall 2020 transcript to . Sunday, February 14th is the deadline.
