A Message from the Pastor-September 22, 2022

Christmas Production Auditions, 2023 Ministry Budgets, Roadside Cleanup, Super Saturday, Sunday School Curriculum

    Hi Springfield,

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” (Proverbs 18:10) A strong tower is important feature in Bible antiquity. A strong tower was high enough that the army could go to it and see if the enemy was attacking. It was also a place where the army could run and fortify itself. If the army needed to defend itself, the strong tower was a good place to do it from. Notice, getting to the strong tower doesn’t stop the enemy from advancing, but it does provide a level of protection against the enemy. When we call on the name of the Lord, He is a strong tower. He provides comfort. He provides protection. He provides fortification. He provides strength. He provides peace. He provides safety. When the righteous call on God, they can run to Him and be safe!
