On Tuesday night, in our Bible study series Overcoming Overwhelmed, we took time to examine Romans 11:33-12:2. As we shared on Tuesday, information + consistent application = transformation. These verses of scripture cover every part of that equation. Take time to read those verses and be inspired afresh to be completely and totally transformed.

There’s much to share this week about some of the great things the Lord is doing at Springfield Baptist Church.

VACCINATION CLINIC

On Saturday, March 13th we will host our 2nd vaccination clinic. This clinic is for those who received their first vaccination shot at our church on Saturday, February 20th. Appointments will be scheduled from 8:45am to 12:45pm. If you have not received an appointment time, please call (919) 696-2554 or (919) 414-2040.

THE HIGH COST OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Three of Springfield’s finest ministries – Economic Empowerment Ministry, Education Ministry and Scholarship Ministry – are coming together to help families deal with the high cost of higher education. Thank God for the power of partnership. This forum will take place Saturday, March 20th at 9am on Zoom. To register for the breakout sessions, go to our website. Subjects to be discussed include:  saving for college, scholarships, avoiding student debt and how to complete the FAFSA.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY CHECK-INS

That same Saturday, our Children’s Ministry will have a Zoom check-in at 11am. This is just a time for the children of the church to come together virtually to help them stay connected to their friends and their church.

CORONAVIRUS CARE PACKAGES

It’s that time again! On Saturday, March 27th, at 11am we will have another Coronavirus Care Package Giveaway. The care packages are filled with groceries to help be a blessing to the community. Stop by pick up a package for yourself, a friend or a neighbor. Let’s remember we’re blessed to be a blessing.
