Matthew 18:20 says, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (ESV) God promises to be with those who gather in His name. This verse is a tremendous blessing. It is God’s assurance not to abandon or desert those who gather in God’s name. In its proper context, this verse is dealing with difficulties in church. Jesus is saying, God promises not to abandon those who gather in His name even in times of difficulty and distress. What a promise! As we move closer to regathering, I’m encouraged to know that God’s power and presence will be with us. He promised whenever we gather and wherever we gather in His name, He will be among us.

The dedication will take place after the 10am service. Sunday School will be canceled on this Sunday. The parking lot will open at 9am. Make plans now to attend this historic event.
