Hero of the Week
This week's Hero of the Week is Bro. Jackson Clark, a 2nd grader at Creech Road Elementary School. Everytime Jackson sees a homeless person, he wants to give them money and buy food. Most of the time his parents (Bro. Leon & Sis. Faith Clark) let him do it. Just before Christmas, Jackson asked if they could give every homeless person they saw, food, a blanket, a pillow, and a dog.
Out of that request, Jackson Cares was born. He did have to scale things back a bit, but he was able to fill 10 one gallon bags with Water, Vienna sausage, razors, soap, cheese n crackers, toothpaste, toothbrush, lotion, washcloth, and a travel size of cologne. Since then, Jackson has received donations to help him fill many more bags and to buy 50 blankets to give his "homeless friends", so they won't be so cold.
Thank you Jackson for all that you are doing! Your church family is proud you!
