Happy Thanksgiving! 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (KJV) There is so much to be thankful for today and always. I pray that somewhere on that list of things you’re thankful for you include a church family who loves you and a church that continues to exalt Jesus Christ. Here are some of the great events happening at our church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL BOOKS

Don’t forget Sunday school books will be given away this Saturday, November 28th at 11am. Please make plans to come by to pick one up while supplies last. 

HONORING SIS. WILLIE MAE ROBERSON

On Sunday after the 10am service we’ll have a drive-thru celebration honoring Sis. Willie Mae Roberson on her retirement after 41 years as our church secretary. Bring your gifts, cards and tokens of appreciation to be given to this well-deserving servant of the Lord.

SENIOR CITIZEN ADDRESSES

To all of our senior citizens, please make sure that we have your correct mailing address. This year, due to COVID-19, the senior citizen gifts will be mailed out. If you have moved since last year or you aren’t sure we have your correct address, please contact the church at (919) 772-8078. 

FREE COVID-19 TESTING

Our partnership with Advance Community Health continues in the month of December. You will have two opportunities for free COVID-19 testing at our church. On Wednesday, Dec. 2nd and Wednesday, Dec. 16th from 10am to 3pm our church will host free testing. Remember testing is one way to help fight the pandemic.

ADVENT SERIES

We also have a very special Advent Series focusing on hope, joy and peace beginning on Tuesday, December 8th during our Bible study hour. We have some special guests who will be sharing during this time. You do not want to miss this blessing!
