I hope you are all well today. This email blast is filled with new and exciting news. We are going to host member Zoom calls beginning this coming Saturday, 5/16/20 as a way to stay connected. We have used Zoom for a virtual leadership meeting and for our National Day of Prayer observance. So far, many of you have been able to successfully join us using Zoom. These calls will give us the chance to check-in with members using technology.

ZOOM MEMBER CHECK-INS

Here’s how the Zoom calls will work. All you’ll have to do is click the link next to your membership group or input the ID# and password to gain access to the meeting. If you don’t have access to join using your computer or device, you can call the Zoom phone line 1 (646) 558-8656 or our regular toll-free conference line (775) 799-9067. We will do our best to provide you with simple instructions when we are able. Zoom can never replace handshakes, hugs and high fives, but it does give us a change to see your smiling faces.

CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!!!! 

As you know, graduation season is here. This graduation season will be different than anyone before. The scholarship ministry is asking all our graduating seniors and those graduating from college to please email them at so that we may prepare to honor our graduates. Though that celebration may be look different this year, your accomplishment is no less important. We celebrate this milestone with you and applaud you for pushing through to get it done even during a global pandemic. 

NEW SECURE GIVING SLOT

I also want to announce that beginning Monday there will be a new way for us to be able to drop off our tithes and offerings at the church. We thank God for all of you who have been dropping your gifts off at the church. On Monday, you will be able to drop your gifts off in a secure giving slot. The gold-colored giving slot is located on the seal-side of the sanctuary. You will be able to drop your gift in that slot and our Treasurer get those gifts from the lock box.   

I want to remind you to take care of yourselves. God will do His part, but we must do ours as well. As usual KEEP THE FAITH, STAY SAFE & WASH YOUR HANDS!
