I hope you’re having a tremendous Thursday and that this email finds you blessed and excited.

Virtual VBS begins tonight! Our VBS committee has worked extremely hard to make sure that VBS is a power-packed experience. I would like to thank them for their hard work in these challenging times. This year’s theme is: “VBS 2020 New Beginnings: Many People Anchored Together in One Lord.” Both tonight and Friday our children and youth class will begin at 6pm and our adult class will begin at 7pm. Registration will end at 5pm tonight. Make sure you don’t miss this blessing.

Saturday’s parking lot picnic is sure to be a blast. It begins at noon. The picnic will allow us a time of food and fellowship. Here are some guidelines that we must follow for the picnic:

• Follow the signs for the flow of traffic. 
• There will be a lane available for those who want to get their food “to-go.”
• Wear your masks while you interact with VBS team, food vendors, deacons or parking lot attendants.
• Remain in your cars for the duration of the picnic. 
• If you are feeling sick, have recently taken a COVID test and are awaiting results or have tested positive for COVID within the past three weeks – PLEASE STAY AT HOME. 

I cannot stress this enough - Please continue to do whatever you can to protect the health and safety of your family and friends at this time. That includes the 3 Ws that you know by now – 1. Wear a mask. 2. Wait 6 feet apart. 3. Wash your hands.
