Hi Springfield,

 

Psalm 40:5 says, “Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.” (NIV) There are so many wonderful things the Lord has done and is doing that sometimes I feel like the psalmist. God has been so good that His goodness towards us is too much to list. In the words of the old song, “He’s done so much for me, I cannot tell it all.”

One of the great things the Lord has done is allow us to work our re-opening plan. I want to thank you all for the JUICY FRUIT that you are displaying. Keep up the great work. Here are some exciting things happening at the Springfield Baptist Church.

GRADUATION SUNDAY

 

On Sunday, July 11^th we will celebrate our 2021 high school and college graduates. We are proud of your accomplishments! The Scholarship Ministry is hosting a drive-thru graduation parade immediately after service on that day. We’re asking all 2021 graduates to wear your caps and gowns for the parade. Drive-thru and honor your favorite graduate.

 

PHASE III – BIBLE STUDY

              

Phase III began this past Tuesday. It was so good to host family groups M-Z. We will host family groups A-L this coming Tuesday, July 13^th at 7pm. Please don’t forget Bible study classes for children, youth, and new members will be offered in-person at the church and on Zoom. Remember with each phase, masking, temperature checks, and social distancing are required.

 

YOUTH WEEKEND

 

The busy month of July will continue the third weekend as we celebrate our Annual Youth Weekend July 17^th – 18^th. Here’s a list of the events planned for our youth on that weekend.

• Saturday – 9am roadside cleanup; 3pm cookout at White Deer Park.
• Sunday – 10am Youth Day service featuring Min. Adrian Bullock; 12pm outdoor fellowship; 5pm Youth & Young Adult outdoor worship event at Martin Street Baptist Church sponsored by the Wake Missionary Baptist Association.

ANNUAL REVIVAL

 

Also don’t forget about our Annual Revival scheduled for Tuesday, July 27^th through Thursday, July 29^th at 7pm. More details to follow.
