Hi Springfield,

Look up! That’s right, look up. Jesus has a word for us when we look up. Listen to the words of the Savior from Matthew 6:26, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” (NIV) As you look up, remember that you are much more valuable than the birds. God did, God is, and God will continue to take care of us. Praise God for that!

VIRTUAL REVIVAL NEXT WEEK

Our virtual revival is next Tuesday through Thursday at 7pm nightly. We have some wonderful revivalists who will bless our hearts through the preaching of God’s word. On Tuesday, July 28th Rev. Dr. Rodney Coleman from First Baptist Church – Chapel Hill will be with us. Pastor Mark Gibson from Redeeming Love Missionary Baptist Church in Raleigh will share with us on Wednesday, July 29th. Rev. Dr. Bankole Akinbinu from Baptist Grove Church in Raleigh will close our revival on Thursday, July 30th. You do not want to miss this virtual revival! God has a blessing with your name on it.  

COVID-19 TESTING SITE

I have some exciting news to share with you. The first week of August, the Springfield Baptist Church, in partnership with Advance Community Health, will be a COVID-19 testing site! The tests will be free of charge. There will be two opportunities to be tested during the week for our church and community. I will be sharing more details about the testing in the coming days. Praise God for this opportunity to partner with and serve our community.
