Hi Springfield,

Happy December! As we enter the Advent season and prepare for the beginning of a new year, take time to reflect all that the Lord has done. The words of old song say, “He has done so much for me, I cannot tell it all.” I know that’s my testimony.  I hope it’s yours too. Here are some of the things happening at our church.

CHURCH CONFERENCE

On Friday, December 3^rd at 7pm we will host a church conference. The conference will be in-person only. The conference will be in the sanctuary. COVID-19 protocols will be in place. At the conference, the budget committee will present an operational budget for 2022. Please support this very important meeting with your prayers and presence.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY ZOOM MEETING

On Saturday, December 4^th at 10am our Children’s Ministry will host a virtual Christmas celebration on Zoom. This will be the ministry’s final meeting for 2021. Please make sure your child is ready to celebrate the true reason for the season this Saturday. Here’s the Zoom link to join!!!

ADVENT PREACHING SERIES

Again, this year, during the month of December our Bible study hour will be focused on Christmas season. The series will focus on the love, joy, and peace that Christ’s birth brings to the heart of believers. The series will begin on Tuesday, December 7^th at 7pm. We have some special guests who will be sharing during this time. You do not want to miss this blessing!

WOMEN’S MINISTRY VIRTUAL EVENT

On Saturday, December 11^th at 11am our Women’s Ministry will host a virtual Christmas event. This is the final event in this year’s Transitioning through Quarantine series. Come relax, relate, and release with the ladies of Springfield Baptist Church! Zoom link to follow.
