    BOOSTER AVAILABILITIES

In our continued efforts to do our part to curb the spread of COVID-19, I wanted to let you know about an opportunity this coming Saturday for vaccinations. On Saturday, beginning at 11am the Garner Road Community Center will host a vaccination clinic for boosters and children’s vaccines. If you’re eligible, please prayerfully consider taking advantage of this opportunity.

    ADVENT PREACHING SERIES

Our Advent Preaching Series culminates this coming Tuesday, December 21st at 7pm. I am thankful for the way the Lord has used our associates during this series and thankful for how you have received the Word of the Lord from them. The series focuses on the love, joy, and peace that Christ’s birth brings to the heart of believers. Please join me and our dynamic associates as we prepare our hearts for the Christmas season.

    ANGEL TREE DONATIONS REPORT

Thanks to you and your efforts we were able to collect more than $2800 in gift cards for our Angel Tree families this year. To God be the glory! Thanks for responding with such grace and generosity. The gift cards will go to assist students in need at East Garner Elementary School and PAVE SE Raleigh Charter School.

    TORNADO VICTIMS SUPPORT

Many of you have asked about Springfield’s response to those who have been affected by the recent deadly storms in the Midwest. Thanks for your concern and prayers for those families. We intend to support these families through supporting the General Baptist State Convention. The GBSC will be sending monetary donations, supplies, and missionaries to the areas affected to be a blessing in Jesus’ name. We’ll keep you posted on the developments.
