Mrs. Brenda Curtis Smith, a member of Springfield Baptist Church, departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012. She was the daughter of Mrs. Ethel Curtis; Sister of Mr.Gary Curtis, Mr. Mike Curtis (Paulette), and Ms. Hattie Meeks; niece of Mrs. Katie Williams. She also lleft to cherish her memories a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins. Funeral Service was held on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, 4309 Auburn-Knightdale Rd., Raleigh, NC. Visitation was held Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, 2 - 8:00 p.m. at Carlton L. Gray Funeral Chapel and 12:30 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. Interment followed in Church Cemetery.
