Membership Ministry

The Membership Ministry is a commissioned body of believers devoted to sharing the joy of Jesus Christ with new and existing members of Springfield Baptist Church. The ministry strives to increase the vitality and diversity of the congregation, encourage the integration of new members into the church, and strengthen the commitment of existing members.

Mission: The Me

• Foster increased recognition and involvement of new and existing members in Springfield Baptist Church activities
• Take pictures of new members during designated times
• Maintain a new members bulletin board which is updated regularly with pictures of individuals who have recently joined the Springfield Baptist Church family
• Compile membership packets and provide them to new members
• Support and assist with the Right Hand of Fellowship
• Provide New Members Empowerment Session gatherings quarterly
• Facilitate a welcoming environment for new and existing Springfield Baptist Church family members to fellowship
