Compassionate Ministry
The mission of our ministry is to aid Springfield Baptist Church family in any way the church and our paster deems necessary to minister to them.
Ongoing Mission
Our ongoing mission is to visit and mail cards to the sick and shut in families of Springfield and their caregivers to encourage them during this cumbersome time. We also keep them lifted in prayer. Our concern for them has also led us to have fellowship dinner at their homes with a prepared meal. This fellowship is hosted at least once a quarter with our members who are shut-in.
Special Projects
Our special project is to host an annual senior citizens dinner honoring Springfield senior citizens and guest seniors from other churches. This event is scheduled the last Saturday of April in our James A. Gibson Fellowship Hall. Below you will find pictures from our past special project.
Our Meetings
Our monthly meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. in room number 10 (ten) of the Fellowship Hall.
We will appreciate and welcome anyone who wishes to join us in making our mission successful in honoring God with our services.
