WHAT MAKES IT A MARRIAGE?
Marriage is a covenant relationship. As a covenant, there are certain requirements to make it a marriage, and to maintain it as a marriage. When people enter into a covenant, they go through a covenant ceremony to declare and establish the covenant. But, does that make it a covenant? No, it it's what they do afterwards that truly makes it a covenant. The ceremony is only a declaration of their intent, they have to follow through and make it a reality.

Hard Work….
The thing is, staying married is hard work. It requires constant diligence, attention, regular rechecking, correction, and retreat. Marriages are one of Satan's favorite targets for attacking and immobilizing Christians. He attacks through temptation and infidelity, he attacks through daily irritations, he attacks through broken communication, he attacks through silent growing indifference that blooms into hatred, he attacks through violent outbursts and emotional abuse.

Why is this Ministry needed?
The Home is no stronger then the marriage - When the relationship is hurting, the family is hurting.
The Church is no stronger than the marriages - When the relationships are not strong difficulty within the body is increased
